The processing, drilling and quarters platform (PdQ) on NOA is operated by Aker BP, and will be the centre in the development of the area.
The scope of the FEED for the NOA PdQ includes a 7 story living quarters module in aluminium for up to 60 people and a helicopter deck.
The work starts immediately with planned completion in the third quarter of 2022. Final investment decision is planned at the end of 2022.
“We are looking forward to working together with Aker Solutions and the other alliance partners on the NOA Fulla field development, and to mature the Living Quarters and Helideck towards final investment decision. If realised, this major project is likely to have significant positive effects on employment in our yard here at Stord,” said Helge Gjøseter, Managing Director at Leirvik AS.
