Marine Bridge

Marinebroen is more than a bridge. It is an example of how Leirvik applies its aluminium and industrial expertise to deliver future-oriented and sustainable infrastructure solutions — engineered and fabricated in Stord, Norway, and delivered to the heart of Berge

Leirvik’s delivery

Leirvik AS fabricated and delivered the Marinebroen bridge structure at its yard in Stord. The delivery includes a lightweight aluminium pedestrian and bicycle bridge designed for long service life, low maintenance requirements, and reduced environmental impact.

With Marinebroen, Leirvik brings decades of experience from offshore and marine construction into new sustainable infrastructure markets.

Built for the future

The bridge is constructed from recycled aluminium and designed for a service life of 100 years. The material selection provides a low carbon footprint, excellent corrosion resistance, and significantly reduced maintenance costs throughout the bridge’s lifetime.

Marinebroen demonstrates how advanced engineering, industrial execution capability, and innovative material solutions can contribute to more sustainable urban development.
