Transparency Act

Leirvik AS is subject to the Norwegian Transparency Act that entered into force as of 1 July 2022.

The purpose is to promote companies’ respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions, within business partners and in supply chains. An essential part of the law is to ensure the public’s access to information regarding these conditions and how businesses handle them. The core of the law involves the duty to carry out and report on due diligence assessments. Due diligence assessments mean that businesses must map possible negative impacts on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions in own production and within business partners and supply chains, implement improvement measures, follow up and report.

Leirvik AS works continously to ensure that the business safeguards basic human rights and decent working conditions. We work with corporate social responsibility every single day, in accordance with a code of conduct that commits our own employees, as well as suppliers of goods and service worldwide.
