Peregrino II Living Quarters & Helideck

Apply Leirvik was awarded the LQ EPC contract from Statoil, with a total value of approx 400 MNOK. Leirvik AS will perform the work at Stord.

Since then Apply Leirvik has become Leirvik AS and Statoil has become Equinor.  And the work is ongoing.

Here is the press release after the award: Statoil has awarded Apply Leirvik a contract for the delivery of the Living Quarters Module for the Peregrino II Platform in the Campos Basin in Brazil. The contract includes delivery of a 5 floor Accommodation module with a total area of 2.600 m2, a capacity of 120 beds, recreation areas, change rooms, helicopter deck, lifeboats and other facilities required for operation of an offshore hotel.

Engineering work will commence immediately and the delivery is in Q3 2019.

This is the first complete delivery of an aluminium module from our yard at Stord to the international market, and is an important step in further development for Apply Leirvik. The new contract fit’s very well into Apply Leirvik’s order book after the ongoing Johan Sverdrup contract.

It is an important project in particular for Apply Leirvik to secure the work places and maintain the competence we have. This contract, in addition to already ongoing contracts for Statoil both for Apply Leirvik, Kværner Stord and other companies, secure the further development of the region, work places and the offshore competence.

The engineering and planning work for the Peregrino II project will start immediately.
