The Wisting field is planned to be developed with a floating production and storage vessel (FPSO) Equinor will be the operator for the field development phase.
The scope of the FEED for the Wisting circular shaped FPSO includes a 6 story living quarters module in aluminium for up to 140 people and a helicopter deck.
The work starts immediately with planned completion in the third quarter of 2022. Final investment decision is planned at the end of 2022.

About the Field
The Wisting field is a standalone field development in the Barents Sea. The concept chosen for the Wisting development involves a circular FPSO and a power-from-shore solution to be integrated in the technical solution, resulting in very low CO2 emissions from the field.
